This video collection and poem read aloud describes an experience a group of artists went on this summer in Torri Superiore, Italy. With the @academyofvisionaryart and @stefan_lucas_allen_art as our fearless leaders, we transformed over the course of 3 weeks and two paintings.
In the end, a celebration was had and our paintings were displayed for the village and community members to see. After 3 weeks of full studio days, a space to release the pressure was needed. A space to be reminded our what is means to be present.
I was given the honor to share spoken word as messages of Presence were coming through. I hope you enjoy the small sliver into an experience of a lifetime with a group of artists I will always hold close to my heart.
Gratitude for this experience,
Jillian Juniper
The Gift of Giving
This past month I started working at a forest school, caring for lots of energetic and enthusiastic beings. When the opportunity to gift artwork to the Coast Salish tribe, I could think of no other way than a collaborative mural!
I created a simple design to embody the powerful call for salmon and camas flower - two suffering species on the San Juan islands. The kids gifted their energy and enthusiasm to bring the design to life with color.
This type of restorative energy is needed to help heal the trauma that occured between colonizers and tribes. One of the major challenges highlighted in this piece is the damage to the ecosystem and salmon people.
It turned out better than I could have imagined. The colors chosen and the excitement to contribute highlights the inherent nature of humans to be a part of something.
The painting was sent off to be enjoyed at an honored speakers gathering for the tribe, and was very well received by the elders. We thank you for receiving our gift. And hope to continue to use our hands to heal.

'Ember' a poetry project
With so many life changes of lately, I wanted to share this completion of my artist process. I am in a new studio, in a new home, on a whole land mass: Orcas Island.
Big life shifts bring new perspectives, unearth struggles to their core, and move one on in the River of Life.
I hope you enjoy a glimpse at the darkness as it rises into the warm glow of my inner embers: that which I had to rely on to float myself through the move.
This video was created as a part of a Dharma Artist's Collective & @erickgodsey iniative to bring artists back to their fire in a world of dying flames.
Excited to share more soon,
Jillian Juniper
A new look for the @bowsanctuary mural!
After some shifts at our local wellness studio in Bow, the owners asked me to come back to bring a new message to the front exterior mural I did one year ago.
"Live Well": a choice to dive into the depth of the wellness path when the world offers so many distractions.
The lettering was hand-written by me and applied freeform, designed to match the flow of the existing mural details.
I am proud to represent this message through my paint and brushes! If you are looking to share a message with a mural, don't hesitate to reach out to me!

Mid-Painting Process β€οΈπ©Ή
Getting very excited to share my finished pieces from the @academyofvisionaryart summer seminar in Italy. Now that the seminar is over, I am taking time to integrate my experience up in the French Alps.
I am both full of life and enjoying my deep rest. Painting everyday for multiple hours, as we did in the seminar, is a new level of commitment to my craft. I intend to bring deeper focus to my practice at home.
Praying this message finds you well π€²πΌ

Inner FREEDOM! True Freedom.
So honored to share this Healing Vision representing the metamorphosis of grief into deeper life purpose. To me, having inner freedom is integral to being able to appreciate external freedom.
We become lit by the fire of transformation when we allow ourselves to be evolved by loss and destruction.
We are beautiful like the butterfly when we allow those we have lost to inspire us from the other side to live more potent lives.
We are courageous when we ask for support in our healing journey. Receiving a Healing Visions painting is one powerful way to welcome in that supportive healing.
I would love to hear what you feel from this piece. If you are curious what a Healing Vision is, visit jillianjuniper.art/healingvisions

Making a mural almost feels like it’s happening outside of me…
When I create these big projects, my passionate heart gets so involved, committed and determined, that often I can find moments where I am watching myself create.
Putting this final video together had me present to the absolute flow state I am in, whether in problem-solving or in a wonderful creative process.
Try something that makes you feel this way, no matter how strong the challenges arise. It will put you in a state unlike all else.
And thank you for celebrating this latest mural’s completion with me,

This is my conquering song...
Where only my Love survives.
This song became a motto for me as I worked long, loud days on my latest mural. WHICH IS COMPLETE NOW!
Thank you to @thefairhaventogo for entrusting me the great honor of bringing mural magic to your establishment.
As you can see, this process included more than just pretty flowers, but letterwork, heights, and thousands of revving engines passing by as I worked as long as I could each clear day.
I am so proud of the result. And I can’t wait to share it with you!
Until then,

'Healing Vision I'
acrylic on canvas
18x24
In this Healing Visions commission painting, a guided shamanic journey inspired these three powerful spirit guides. The client shared with me his entire visual experience. He gave me full trust to use my intuitive creativity to create a scene that would forever embalm the experience he had.
The Eagle, The Hawk, and The Dragon represent three aspects of the client: the eye of God/The Infinite, Precision, and Raw Power. The energetic light looming in the background represents the divine compassion and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
I continue to be impressed by the pieces that come from this Healing Visions process. Working with other's personal healing journeys as inspiration brings images forth that hold a special tone.
I recently participated in a ceremony using this painting as the Altarpiece. As the night went on, it became more magical under candlelight and community connection.

Strawberry Solstice Forever π©·
So honored and excited to share the @strawberrysolstice2024 invitation painting. This June, women will be gathering in sacred way to dance under the strawberry moon during the summer solstice. It’s my privilege to envision this gathering and help set the intentions for our celebration.
Interconnected, present moment consciousness takes hold of us as we sink into our magical mama. Everything softens to a warm, pink tone as the moon glows in our Love and Praise.
We are stewardesses of the Earth, conduits of the Divine. Dance with us, pray with us, and honor our sacred intentions.
May this gathering unleash a depth of purpose in each woman that attends. May it be so, and so it is.

'Subtle Ecosystems'
acrylic on canvas
The video says it all: salmon are the lifeblood of the Pacific Northwest. Their health guides the inevitable health of all of us, most pertinently the orcas.
In 2023, less than 80 Southern Resident orcas remained off the coast of this region.
I am honored to be joining the @nwartistsagainstextinction which is a a creative collaboration between artists and advocates to support the restoration of the lower Snake River and its imperiled wild salmon and steelhead.
I hope to gain further clarity in my role in the restoration of balance of these subtle ecosystems we may barely notice, but certainly impact our instinctual feeling of connection to it all.
WIP of a Healing Vision
So honored to share this piece I've been working on because it is more than my vision: it is the representation of a personal healing journey.
A Healing Vision is an amplified visual sourced from life-changing moments: big life events, commitments, and personal journeys create potent inspiration for an altarpiece painting. From those challenging times to the moments to seek blessings and prayer, gazing at a personal healing vision opens doors of insight and appreciation.

How do Spirits emerge into our lives?
One path I've found in this life is through painting. Without intending, I found myself a creative person; (aren't we all!) yet I found a paintbrush in my hand as an even more specific expression of this creativity.
Over time I developed and learned styles of painting that supported me in creating more life-like figures @alex_pinguli @vitra.academy β€οΈ Though, I never felt the need to be entirely in realism. Part of that was resistance to the meticulous path a realist must follow, and perfectionism has never really been my thing. The rest came from a desire to understand what might be underneath the physical layer of creatures that still walk this Earth, no matter has few may be left.
I paint Spirit Beings to rebirth this energy into our daily lives. With hopes that it goes beyond the painting, but that the painting becomes a portal, or visual, to inspire deeper contemplation on one's path.
May you connect with your Spirit beings in your own way... maybe it is painting (for a lot of my community on IG that is true!) or maybe it is tinkering with clocks.
No matter the expression, I wish you flow in your current.

Meeting Presence
acrylic on textured canvas
prints & original available for purchase
Where do I start with this precious being that has emerged from brushes and paint?
Presence is a unique chimpanzee elder whose purpose is to meet you in the here and now.
His energy is held in the chimpanzees that have walked this Earth past and present. I have not gotten to meet a chimpanzee yet, but I hope I do get the opportunity in this life!
To be with Presence is to be with the rawness of life in each moment.
Enjoy!

Welcome to the Wisdom Animals, a painting series.
Featuring three 20x30 inch canvas animal portraits, one 8x11 work on paper, and hand-embellished banana paper prints of each work.
This series brings to focus the wisdom of animals. The choices made to highlight their emotional eye contact, illuminate their subtle energies, and honor their full body in portraiture put visuals to the immense reverence that emerges in the presence of animals; beings that are asking us humans to realign our ways so they can continue sharing their vital wisdom.
They know more than we can speak to,
yet in their midst, we feel this knowing viscerally.
TODAY I will hang this series for the month at @bowsanctuary & @persimmon_bow the foothills of the Chuckanut mountains in beautiful Washington State. Celebrate with me!

'Elder Wisdom'
watercolor & acrylic on paper
8x11 framed original and prints available
This piece was made in a bit of a different creative process than I've played with before. I started with a very detailed, fine-line underpainting. Then, many months later revisited it with glazes of watery gold and white shapes.
What emerged was a more free-flow way of creating that doesn't use reference photos like some of my other work.
What emerged was an elder being: one who guides us with wisdom, knowing, grace and deep care.
I hope you enjoy this piece, and learn something in this elder's gaze.
March of the Elephants

Inspired by the overpopulation of elephants in Botswana, I felt the elepahts urge to march! Many dangers line their path from Southern Africa to Northern Asia, from poachers to chemical farming, yet the elephants are strong and wise.
I visualized this image to honor their Potential to Regenerate The eARTh.
Thank you to @zachbushmd for speaking these words on @bluofearth 's podcast that illuminated my mind to this potential energy.

Tell me more about HealingArts!!!
Okay, well basically it is therapeutic service that offers altarpiece painting to people on committed healing path.
Most people don’t have a piece of art in their home that is an embodied reflection of the transformational process they are going through.
The painting is designed to be an altarpiece, a significant image placed on an altar, that reminds you of your commitment in hard moments, or when asking for support or blessings.
Through HealingArts, you are given a chance to honor your strength and support your healing path with a personalized altarpiece that will illuminate your way in the deepest form.

‘Strong Surrender’ acrylic on canvas 36x24 inches
This woman puts her hands up amongst the deep red waves of her journey. She is strong in her surrender. She is courageous in her vulnerability. She is what it means to be a woman.
As I created this piece, certain nights I would consider is the red demonic? Is this image too powerful? Is it too evocative? Should art be soft and relaxing only?
Yet the deeper I contemplated this, the more I felt the authentic feminine spirit living in this piece. The raw, powerful, deep, red blood that runs through the veins of each woman. To depict a woman in a powerful state, like a volcano, is just as beautiful as a calm, sensual image of her.
This piece is also a self portrait, though it represents whoever is looking at it. This means it was a very sensitive process to create. To paint yourself is an experience like no other, hard to write about.
I hope that you were able to connect with this piece in a unique way, and it would mean a lot to me to leave a comment or send me a message with what this piece brings up for you. As my art is always interpretive and open to many interpretations.
With Love,
Jilly Juniper

This fierce image invokes the power of our intuition. It’s not just our physical sight, but other senses that bring about awareness.
Learning to fine tune our ability to hear the intuition’s volume is a discipline. Like a Big Cat, being an expert hunter of the voice leading us onward. Knowing who is speaking, who to tune out, and how to move forward.
Honoring the Florida Panther in this image, for only so few remain alive on Gaia today. They need us to continue to learn to tune into our Precise Intuition, just as much as we need them to keep on their hunter’s path and inspire us.
May our Senses become Precise and our Intuition become Clear so we can Hear the Truth.

An upgraded ‘New Life’ π
As a hurried to finish the first version, I felt myself rushing my creative process. It can be uncomfortable to be right on the verge of completing a piece. Some agonize over tiny details and resist finishing, while others, like me, can rush to finish it before it’s really done.
I came back to the piece to bring it to a fuller expression, without overworking it. I re-shaped the baby so it is actually in the most healthy position for birth. I changed around the rainbow pallet to a warmer spectrum. Overall, I just feel prouder of this piece than before! And that makes me want to show it off and want to bring it to the people! Releasing those patterns that have me finish a piece before it’s done, that make me want to hide finished works and not post up with them smiling wide!
Enjoy ‘New Life’ acrylic on canvas

Music + Art @ Imagine Gathering β¨
I spent the weekend surrendering to the flow and honoring the sacred at @imagineorcasisland on orcas island. Dancing, praying and being blown away by the humans I witnessed in their element.
Some notable people I met included artists like @artbypendragon who’s art in featured in this video, as well as musicians like the Youssoupha Sidibe, featured in this video, and the wonderful Yaima. Native elder Paul C’IYOKTEN Wagner lead us in numerous mind-stilling and heart opening prayers in form of words and song and taught us the ways of his powerful people. Needless to say, we’ve all been blessed here at Imagine.
Intentions sparked moving out of Imagine include a deeper dive into the visionary art community and seeking more artistic roles for my creativity to expand. Let us forward our dreams with deep presence and respect carrying from moment to moment.
Blessed be,

Painting Progress of 'The March of the Elephants' a prophecy of the regeneration of mother earth.
In the audio, Dr. Zach Bush speaks on the belief in the miracle of biology during a @bluofearth podcast featuring @genekeys and @zachbushmd
My intention for creating this piece is to intensify the manifestation of the wise elephant's march. To forward the regeneration of the earth in a way that may seem overly miraculous to most. Summertime Signs π©°
I recently got the opportunity to create signage for a lovely summertime farm wedding. The aesthetics were soft, organic and classic with the emblem of a pair of pears to symbolize the couple.
I created multiple designs per the size of each sign. Using a projector to trace the lettering, each sign had a both a professional and clean look, with a hand-painted feel.
I am so proud of these creations and how they enhanced the flow of the wedding day. Thank you @ecreativestudio for the opportunity to be creatively connected to the celebration of you and Addis!
Cheers to the creative offering!

Following a recent string of landscapes, and getting the chance to paint in a landscape painter’s studio, this flowy valley view came through!

Well, almost full! I completed my second lesson with young Jacob just before flying westward for the summer. It was an emotional and deeply connected experience to share together. Jacob was so excited to further the painting and learn how to develop it to the next level. We did not get to finish the painting, but that was not the point.
Now we move into summer, both forever changed for choosing to go on this journey together of Unleashing Our Power. I know Jacob is a better artist from taking this time to learn from me, and consequently, all those who have taught me.
You never know where The Adventure might take you.

Live Painting with Jilly Juniper π΅
I recently got the opportunity to live paint at @dancemedicinephilly for @mosemusica & friends on their Cacao Dance tour!
Of course, I had to paint the lake. Which lake? Some of you may ask…
Lago Atitlán! The place where it all began for me. Where I learned what community was on a deeper level. And now here I am, 2 years later, rich in the soils of community across the world, and in my homeplace of Philadelphia. I will never doubt the power of community. The more places I travel, the more I see this trust empowered.
The lake means more than just a community of traveler hippies. It’s a sacred land inhabited by indigenous cultures who cultivate wisdom that continues to impact me.
More to come, more to create,

Honoring the Teacher @apinguli π¦§
On a whim of inspiration, I went to visit my high school art teacher. Mr. Pinguli, the one who awakened first spark painting wisdom on my journey. In his class, I learn techniques that continue to support my painting process. After giving my first art lesson two days before, I felt the call to visit my first true teacher.
Mr. Pinguli did not disappoint. He showed me all the work that he’s been up to and his new “Art For Life” video series which you can find by following @apinguli β¨
He also reminded me of some key lessons about self-worth and confidence as artists. It is really the key to illuminating this world, from within so without. He ended up purchasing one of my Limited edition prints on β¨Banana Paperβ¨, which is a paper made from banana leaves grown and hand produced in Micronesia. Moving forward, my intention is for my art to not only depict supportive energy for the earth, but be using materials that are the earth, hence joining in on the cycle of nature that is the key to healing us.
Continue to Be the Spark That Lights Your Way,

Yesterday I got the opportunity to guide a young artist named Jacob and a painting session. Before beginning our session, I asked 9 year old Jacob if he would be open allowing me to guide him. Jacob has created many pieces thus far in his lifetime, and I wanted to receive that blessing from him, to allow me to be the space holder. He accepted and I could sense the eagerness in him to grow expansively.
Selecting the lion was a clear subject matter, as I love to paint the animal family and Jacob was ready to step into his power. We sketched on canvas using graphite and the grid method, as I explained each detail of my process to Jacob, not holding back as he was ready to receive. We also completed the imprimatura and first round of whites.
This is a high level process taught to me by @vitra.academy and @amandasageart and now I am sharing it with the youth.
Beyond honored in this life for experiences like this. No words can describe what it means to commune in giving and receiving of the sacred Mitzvah.
Honor the Sacred,

“Eye Love You”
acrylic on cardboard
These wise beings are really out here with love that feels out of this world. I got the honor to be up close with them this year, and experience their unique presence. I am forever changed.
So I make this video, this painting, to have you, who may or may not have had the experiences I have, to feel the Love these whales are on planet Earth. Their eyes say it all: I love you.
LOVE,
Jilly Juniper

Beings Meditating in Mural β¨
Murals make a space the artwork. They welcome in with color, protect with passion from the artist and the viewer and make a space sacred with the intention of creative energy.
I am so proud of this mural, and seeing the space used for spiritual practice deepens my mission to show up as the most potent mural maker I can be!
Thank you @igor_galibov for empowering this mural and sharing it with your community π

Energy from the Weekend π₯
This is what live painting open hearted looks like for me! I am dancing, flowing on bigger movement details of the painting. The painting is absorbing the present moment and charging it as a memory that lives on.

‘Sacred Union’
acrylic on canvas
Painted live at Harry Bo & LaVina’s Sacred Union retreat and ceremony, this piece visualizes the Sacred Union codes. As I painted throughout the weekend, the piece evolved and transformed as our community dove deeper into how Union wants to manifest through them.
During the last ecstatic dance of the weekend, the piece began to feel finished as pure source energy poured through every cell of my body. I completed the work in the closing circle, how aligned.
Then, as I was sealing the piece, the varnish began to form clumps that threatened the finished look of the painting. I quickly grabbed a painting support team and we rubbed off the varnish, revealing past layers. Even after being complete to me, the painting shifted to a visual I couldn’t control, truly embodying this downloading of the Sacred Union codes, beyond what the human mind may think is possible.
Stay receptive, be bold, and love always,
Jilly Juniper
π
‘Generations’
acrylic on canvas
A symbol of the fragile and the strong, and how they express themselves, and are interconnected.
Our young selves: sensitive, receptive, needing the support of the strong to survive. Our strong selves: powerful, impressive, hard, needing the softness of our young selves stay true.
Allowing both to be present without resistance. Allowing our fragility to pair with our strength, forming a generation meant to thrive.
All the Love,
Jilly Juniper

The painting is finally up at the new South Philly @luhvfood β€οΈ
I painted this a two years ago for my first bosses Silvia and Daniel. They asked me to create something that would express connection to nature. What came through for me was tell a story with my brush. This painting definitely has more than meets the eye at first glance. That’s why I’m happy anyone that goes to eat at the new Luhv location will be able to look it over while they enjoy the best vegan food in the world.

Excited and honored to deliver this painting as a gift to @coffeeclubpod at the Penn Relays π€
It was only a few years ago I was running at the Penn Relays in high school. Track has been, and continues to be, a deep passion of mine. While I’m not competing nearly on the level of these athletes, getting connect with the sport any way I can feels amazing. And yesterday I got to combine my love of painting with my excitement for the sport of running.
I painted Gus, the mascot of their podcast and beloved pet of the athletes I am pictured with. These guys have a great podcast that I love to listen to and I figured they could use some art for their studio background. They were so appreciative of the gift and made me feel so seen as an artist who creates for others!
Keep being bold, keep creating πͺΆ
A dreamy setup π€
So grateful to share my art from a place of such authenticity. I feel in total support of what I am creating. I love all that is coming from it, because it is bringing me to a true state with every moment.
My mission is to beautify space, community and connect us to nature. My work is aiming to be sustainable for the earth and all beings that inhabit it. You can count me to honor sustainability, beauty and community in everything I do.

Did you know 100 million sharks are killed every year? π¦
“ManΕ (Shark) Medicine” acrylic on canvas
New 16x20 inch canvas painting created in the @vitra.academy container “Mechanics of Nature” with @amandasageart @alecia_sacredheart & @markhensonart guiding a class of 21 potent artists.
After spending one month in Hawaii, I felt called to create from the wisdom of the Hawaiians I only began scratching the surface of. One of my most powerful experiences was open swimming on the Kona side of the Big Island with 30+ spinner dolphins, and a shark too. This experience was extremely exhilarating as sharks have always both fascinated and freaked me out, majorly due to the culturally-induced fear of the apex predators.
Did you know 100 million sharks are killed every year? I learned this and began learning much more from @oceanramsey & @juansharks
They do great work with education on this sacred, and powerful beings, by doing with proper training what only few can do, swim with them! Thanks for the photography that led to this painting @juansharks π

Newest Mural “The Protector” πΊπβ¨
This painting signifies the fierce love that comes forth from being a protector. A lone wolf is out for themselves, while one that has Cubs is fierce with a deeper purpose. π
Being a protector, being of service makes things harder. It brings more potent challenges to one’s life, causing them to need fo gather more resources, being a better communicator and less focused on their sole needs. π
This mural was inspired by a family I recently got the privilege of staying with on the Big Island of Hawaii. They taught me what it means to be an Ohana, and welcomed me in like one of their own. I created this mural under the guidance of fellow artist, 9 year old Adara. In this audio clip, she shows her keen artistic awareness already developing. She incredible artist with a lot of potential to make big impacts in this world. When I asked her what I should paint she did not hesitate to say a wolf, then later suggested to add to wolf pups. She was the visionary behind this mural, and got to learn from me as I created on her home.
May this mural protect their home and remind them of the power that comes from Ohana ππΏ

Momma Donna posing with the painting I created for her π₯Ί
I created this work after staying at her Airbnb in Hawi, Big Island βοΈ
I got to meet @soiltosoulsolutions and learn all about the wonderful ways she is impacting the world. We have a lot in common, and a lot to learn from each other. So I created this painting as a token of our connection.
Recently, I was thinking of doing a mural at a hostel. The connection was not right between me and the hostel and the weather was too rainy for the mural location I wanted to choose. We decided not to do the project, which taught me a lot about acting from alignment, not scarcity.
So far I’ve been able to create smaller paintings and I am so happy to create in alignment for Donna and learn these lessons as I travel.
Love,

Aloha from Jilly Juniper on the sacred lands of Hawaii π₯°
I feel honored to get to share time with the Hawaiian islands! There is so much energy here: both easeful and restless. The Hawaiian people are in distress from the inflated westernization of their land, while more and more people come everyday to experience the true magic that exists here. I am one of them. But my intention remains to create art that honors the land, beginning with this short watercolor sketch.
My larger intention is to drop into a community on the Big Island where a mural is desired! Specially, I want to create a mural that honors Hawaiian people, their traditions and innate connection to mama Hawaii. I want to learn how to be in tune with the land deeper and serve both humans, and all of life, including the Earth.
If you have any community suggestions or desire any custom art from me, please feel free to reach out!

Where am I? Hm, if you’re reading this, you’re one of the few to know through social media that I am in Mexico! I painted this mural at a place I stayed at in Huaulta de Jiménez. This banyan tree was incredibly fun to make blue and yellow! It has a powerful energy, a magical energy.

Golden Love πͺ
acrylic & paint markers on canvas
A piece started in St. Pete, road tripped up to Philly and then returned to St. Pete to be completed. A powerful example of the journey we traverse to meet our destiny!
What is destiny? For this painting is done, yet my hand had much to do with this. Not to mention my heart, an extension of God’s Heart, mind, car, money, time and attention.
Destiny is the final piece, compiled of a collection of fractals of the universe, some of which are our own will’s, the wills’ of others and of the elements.
This is the digital destiny of Golden Love! Where will the physical destiny reside now? Not sure quite yet, but I know it will be a collection of hearts that decide.
Amen,

Sweet Compassion
Acrylic on Canvas
This painting, like most of my work, came of the heart. I chose to sketch a deer on a small canvas I had. A week later, I was still left wondering why I had sketched this deer, and did not start painting.
As I began a video call with my good friend @megan.smith.art the pieces began to come together. I realized just earlier that morning I had walked around the outskirts of a deer hunt. I felt a pain in my heart knowing that animals were being killed not too far from me, despite the reasoning of overpopulation.
It’s quite interesting how meaning can change even in an instance. One week I had no connection as to why I had sketched this deer, the next, a deep symbol of sweet compassion.
I am also reflecting on my love of painting animals. There is nothing like painting animals for me. I hope I paint animals until my last breath.
Love, Jilly Juniper

Burning the candle at both ends lately with some good project flow. I really enjoyed stepping into my sign painter archetype this week working on a sign on stucco for Dennis & Sons Contracting.
I learned lots about good communication between client and artist. I had to re-do the outline and maneuver the conversation without blame or fault. I learned to always ask deeper questions, like where locationally do you want this on the wall?

Healing Fall Painting π see below
I painted this corn hole game that I found on the side of the road. It was very healing for me to paint, I’ve been feeling a little frustrated with some of my professional projects and it was really fun to do some thing less serious. I’m very happy with the final product, but I’ve been practicing enjoying the process lately and having the final product be icing on the cake. With this project, that rings very true as a couple times while painting today I had to stop and cry out some emotions. It was so calming to return back to the painting after getting those stuck motions moving.

Quick Serendipitous Mural π
This piece is located at @stonehedgegardens in Tamaqua, PA. It’s an homage to the Amanita mushroom. There were few of these mushrooms sprouting up on the land this weekend during the Harmonic a Earth festival. There was already a mural being done and I connected with the artists, leading me to make the small mushroom mural one afternoon during the gathering. I took a picture of one of the Amanitas in their younger stage and memorialized it on the barn! It’s amazing to connect with artists and see their of their process and then feel welcome to join in. I’m so grateful I got to make this piece this weekend! Thank you @benrogers22 & @canyouquacklikeaduck for being the talented, supportive artists you are!
If you look in my bio you’ll see a link to my new website where all of my murals are posted with a backstory on each one. This mural will be on there with more commentary of the Amanita mushroom!

Here we go again CREATING!
Let me know what you think in the comments of my latest creation!
Welcome to my world of big canvases and bold colors! This mural was a heart project on special land @kula_eco_retreat ! It took heart to complete in the Florida Heat too, but when the time is aligned, I go for it! I completed this work in 7 hours of work time within a 24-hour period. Being happy about how the mural came out was boosted by seeing how quickly beauty can flow out of me! The fast pace schedule I was on allowed me to feel urgency. Bold, creative ideas came out quickly. I really love the colors of this mural, the darker red and green contrast well with the brighter yellows and blues! And whenever I get to paint animals and plants, I’m a happy muralist πππΌ

A view into my latest mural π§π»
‘Buffalo Stampede’
This mural is located at Big Chief Brewing in Horsham, PA! The owner and I connected over Facebook after I posted an ad for my mural work in a local business page. He contracted me to create a western mural to reflect his the theme of his business. It was interesting to learn about his connection to the Native Americans as his father was Chippewa. I never know where murals will take me but so far, I’ve connected with unique people in transformative spaces.
Murals also have been teaching me lots about myself. Being out on a mural job can be tiring, especially in public locations. When working outside you have to time when you work to the weather conditions and be ready for people to stop and ask you about your art. At some moments, the frustration is real. Problem-solving is a very necessary skill. It also requires a good business mind to navigate client relationships. I’ve found being my authentic self and communicating my needs as well as asking what the client’s needs are is essential. Since a mural job typically is a longer project, it is very important to clarify all details and talk about expectations. I am learning big time about how strong and capable I am!
I can’t wait to get started on some amazing projects, some of which I already have lined up! To this a strange, lovely, challenging and rewarding journey!
Love,
Jilly

Divine Space
acrylic on canvas
This painting took a few weeks to complete. I spent time working in these vaulted ceiling details of the St. Peter’s cathedral in Rome. Though the detail work took time, the concept came fairly naturally. I wanted it to feel ethereal and dreamy, giving the couple their own world to exist in, a world held by the divine. In a way, a couple being seen by God is the most intimate space they can hold each other in.
Let me know what you see in this painting,
Sincerely with love,
Jilly π€

In honor of my birthday,
here is a recent self-portrait completed over the course of a few weeks using the Mischtechnik. I’ve been studying this method of painting in @vitra.academy with @amandasageart @alecia_sacredheart and special drawing revamp with @stefan.lucas.art !
So grateful for this experience to study art while being a professional artist. It reminded me why I made the decision to leave Tyler School of Art but also why I made the decision to go there in the first place. Art is my spark, my gift. I am so happy I am free in the world to share it while also continuing my education.
This portrait is titled “Blissful Being” and along with it comes a short poem:
Floating Freely,
My truth flows,
Throat Chakra Beaming,
Blissful Being.
The bliss that comes from being fully expressed! May this continue in this new year of Jilly Juniper as I turn 21 years young today π§‘
